“This year’s ARM/AGM was hosted by the Wigan Division The Wigan Division held an excellent entertaining evening on the Friday with an Indian buffet dinner which was thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended. Saturday was an excellent day, where delegates met and debated far reaching motions affecting the health service, the organisation and much more. Delegates and guests then joined in celebrating with an enjoyable Gala Dinner with the chief guest Dr Chaand Nagpaul the Chairman of the BMA GPC who gave a most impressive speech which was very well received. I was delighted and privileged to be part of the whole weekend. I would like to thank the Wigan Division for all their hard work which was evident by the success of the whole weekend.
