Please click here BIDA 12th International Congress – Proposal Document- 19Jan2017CONGRESS RIO 2017 to find the details of BIDA’s 12th International Congress, as you are aware BIDA members have asked us for an annual International Congress and because of the popularity amongst members the Executive Committee have approved the next International Congress which is taking place in Brazil and Argentina. We will be departing from the UK 22nd October 2017 and returning back to the UK on 2nd November (expected arrival in UK). The last day in Buenos Aires is leisure time for guests, there is an optional extra day tour on the last day to Uruguay which would incur an extra charge. The tour operator Srinivas Patnaik from Arbiton Ltd; trading as Hassium Holidays who organised our very successful event in Sri Lanka in 2014 has been appointed. Srinivas and his team understand the needs of our organisation and is excellent with tour logistics. Dr Sabyasachi Sarker has been nominated to be our Convenor and he has kindly agreed, he has previous experiences in this role,Dr Ashish Dhawan has kindly agreed to assist. Dr Sanjay Arya has kindly agreed to be the Chairman of the Scientific Committee. The travel agent has advised us that because of logistics there is going to be strictly limited number of places and as the tour will be very popular so we suggest you book your place as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. The deadline for bookings is 15th March 2017 to enable the travel agent to secure the prices he has quoted. For the members convenience we have agreed with the travel agent to split the payment in three instalments but we must stick to the dates.
